Biography
Dr. Harrison Ndetan received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physics
from the University of Buea, Cameroon and participated in a Medical Physics fellowship
on imaging modalities in diagnostic medicine at the Institute of Theoretical Physics
in Trieste, Italy. He received Master and Doctor of Public Health degrees with concentration
in Biostatistics from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC),
Fort Worth, TX and a joint MD /PhD degree from the University of Science, Arts and
Technology (USAT), Monserrat, British West Indies.
Before joining the Department of Biostatistics & Epidemiology at UT Health Science
Center at Tyler, Dr. Ndetan served as the Hospital Administrator of New Era Clinic,
Tiko, Chair of the Science Division at Christ the King College, Tiko and Instructor
of Physics at the University of Buea – Cameroon. He also served as Professor for Biostatistics
and Director of Research at Parker University, Dallas, TX as well as Adjunct Professor
of Biostatistics at UNTHSCT, Fort Worth.
