Patriot Plaza
The Patriot Plaza is located in the heart of the campus, between the University Center and the Alumni House. It consists of a large green space with trees, sidewalks, and grassy areas. It even has an amphitheater seating for 600. The Plaza provides a common area conducive to various types of engagement to include concerts, family reunions, and other large gatherings.
UT Tyler faculty and staff can request the Patriot Plaza (to include the amphitheater) using Astra. Quick video tutorials can be found here.
Registered student organizations need to request space through Patriots Engage. Patriot Engage Training Video Tutorials are available if needed. Video tutorials to Navigate Scheduling Grid in Astra are available as well.
Community members are welcome to request this venue using the Patriot Plaza Online Request Form for Community Members. A quick video tutorial can be found here.
